Vodafone Germany's mobile network is suffering nationwide disruption, reports inside-handy.de. Following complaints from customers about having no reception, Vodafone confirmed via Twitter that it was experiencing 'cross-regional disruption' and that engineers were working to restore services.

Verizon buys 24.5% stake in AwesomenessTV

Verizon is expanding content available for its mobile TV service with the acquisition of a 24.5 percent stake in AwesomenessTV. Dreamworks Animation remains majority shareholder with 51 percent of AwesomenessTV, and Heart holds the remaining 24.5 percent. The Verizon investment values the media company at USD 650 million. 

In addition to its equity investment, Verizon will enter into an agreement with AwesomenessTV to create a premium short-form mobile video service. The service will operate as a new and independent brand, and feature premium transactional content for a variety of audiences "on par with the highest-end content seen on television today", Verizon said.  The new service will launch as part of Verizon's go90 mobile video service, and Verizon will fund the initiative through a multi-year agreement with AwesomenessTV. 

 

 

 

在欧盟漫游管理机构的下一项政策变更中，比利时移动运营商Mobistar宣布其新的漫游资费从5月份开始生效。Mobistar已付费用户的漫游费用将降低，以及欧盟管理局允许的附加费也会降低。拨出去的通话每分钟0.065欧元，接入电话每分钟0.0138欧元，短信息每条0.024欧元，流量每兆0.0605欧元。一些老用户的资费更高，每分钟0.2299欧元。

 

预付费用户的通话每分钟0.30欧元，和在比利时的收费是一样的。对于移动互联网用户来说，除了使用监管机构所规定的资费，还可以选择使用Mobistar提供的9.68欧元包含250兆的数据流量资费包或者84.7欧元3G流量的资费包。

 

Mobistar updates EU roaming prices

Belgian mobile operator Mobistar announced its new roaming prices valid from May after the next change in EU roaming regulation. Most postpaid customers will see the cost of roaming fall, to the surcharges allowed under the EU regulation. Outgoing calls will cost EUR 0.065 per minute, incoming calls EUR 0.0138 per minute, SMS EUR 0.0242 and data EUR 0.0605 per MB. Some older subscriptions will have higher rates, with calls at EUR 0.2299 per minute. 

 

Prepaid calls will cost EUR 0.30 per minute, the same as in Belgium. For mobile internet users, Mobistar offers a bundle of 250 MB for EUR 9.68 or 3 GB for EUR 84.70 as alternative to the regulated rates.
